A hidden gem of Piedmont, Cascina Baricchi represents a refreshing, artistic approach to winemaking: this small estate in Neviglie is run by Natale and Francesca, producing just about 10,000 bottles of Barbaresco Riserva per annum. The story of Natale as a winemaker begins at 24 when he learned the ropes under none other than the maestro Bruno Giacosa making a Barbaresco using only the rare Nebbiolo Rosé clone from the Casasse vineyard which is still to this day the flagship label of the estate.
