Domaine Blain-Gagnard, located in the village of Chassagne-Montrachet, was formed in 1980 when Jean-Marc Blain married Claudine Gagnard. The 9-hectare domaine, comprising two-thirds white and one-third red, boasts vineyards in some of the Côte de Beaune's most prestigious appellations. Jean-Marc, alongside his son Marc-Antonin, oversee a meticulous cellar where judicious use of new oak produces wines of remarkable purity and elegance. These wines are not only approachable in their youth but also possess exceptional aging potential.
