Domaine Blain-Gagnard, located in the village of Chassagne-Montrachet, was established in 1980 when Jean-Marc Blain married Claudine Gagnard. The 9-hectare estate, two-thirds planted with white and one-third with red, includes vineyards in some of the Côte de Beaune’s most prestigious appellations. Jean-Marc, together with his son Marc-Antonin, oversee a meticulous cellar where careful use of new oak produces wines of remarkable purity and elegance. These wines are not only approachable in their youth but also have exceptional ageing potential.
