The Domaine d'Eugénie was born when François Pinault purchased the estate from René Engel in July 2006. It is located in Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of the Côte-de-Nuits between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Gevrey-Chambertin. Frédéric Engerer manages the Estate, along with Château Latour, Château-Grillet, Eisele Vineyard and Clos de Tart and of a team of two experienced winegrowers with a broad range of skills. The plots cover a total planted surface area of 4.51 ha (11.14 acres) and are located in the villages of Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault. The Estate produces wine from 9 appellations.
