Tasting Notes

Lovely core of dense black fruit combining well with minerals, toasty oak and wood spice. Intense, poised and with considerable zip here too. Very respectable, should be excellent value. 17 points

Reviews & Scores

Deep red-ruby. Sexy aromas of dark berries, tar, smoke and toasty, spicy oak. Lush, supple and gentle for the vintage, with a slightly medicinal coolness to its pure black cherry and spice flavors. Offers attractive sweetness and flesh. Finishes fairly tannic but not dry, with a juicy quality and moderate length. 87-90 points
