Tasting Notes

This particular Riserva is aged in French oak barrels for 3 years. It is then bottled and aged for 12 months before being released. The nose is filled with rich, red fruits and liquorice aromas. On the palate it expresses great minerality and blueberry fruits. The wine has long length and would be well suited to game meats. One to keep for the cellar.

TASTING NOTES

“A darker, more structured Barolo than his sibling, Prapo’ is an incredibly pure expression of the terroir of Serralunga. Precise notes of red and black berries, forest floor and dark spices are framed by tight woven tannins and lively freshness. An exciting release that has the potential to be enjoyed for the next 10 years.” Armit Wines

TASTING NOTES

"Bussia is the most mineral of Claudio’s wines. Enticing notes of red cherry, liquorice, coffee and spice become increasingly fragrant and floral with aeration. Finely integrated tannins frame the supple texture of the palate." Armit Wines

TASTING NOTES

Perfumed and floral, with delicate touches of wild raspberry, liquorice and earthy notes of truffle and dried herbs. Very enticing, but give it time to open up.
