Tasting Notes

A serious, imposing nose of deep cherry, cassis and damson with perfumes of rose and violet. On the palate, this is deep, powerful, concentrated with high, juicy tannins, a mineral core and fresh acidity despite the obvious ripeness. This is top-quality wine-making, so good in fact that you could almost drink it now, but if you can resist it will only get better and better.
