Tasting Notes

There is no better example of what pure liquid minerality tastes like than the 2009 Ermitage l?Ermite Blanc. Tasting like a cocktail made of crushed granite intermixed with white flowers, citrus oil, pear and quince, this wine possesses majestic concentration, great acids, phenomenal purity and a finish that lasts over a minute. Like its two siblings, it is a compelling wine in every hedonistic and intellectual sense possible. It, too should last for 75-100 years.

Those tannins carry the beautifully concentrated fruit to a long, long finish. Effortless and perfectly...

Once again, the tannic structure is impeccable and perfectly integrated. This says more about the superb quality of the fruit than it does about the 100% new oak. Gravelly Meadow is Diamond Creek’s...
