Tasting Notes

Rich and elegant with wonderful length, this wine has intense aromas with notes of dark cassis and plums. The palate is bursting with flavour balanced by a refined mineral note, a firm integrated structure and a lively freshness with just a hint of spice and a subtle floral note on the finish. Drink 2014 ? 2020.

ProducerTintoNegro

A collaboration between two former Bodega Catena Zapata employees - American Jeff Mausbach and locally born viticultural expert Alejandro Sejanovich - TintoNegro is primarily a master of Malbec, grown in some of the best parcels of high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina. Although the duo own two vineyards themselves, their handcrafted wines are produced at different wineries, chosen to suit the best expression of terroir and their hand-crafted approach to winemaking.
