Tasting Notes

This is always a very impressive wine and the 2011 is no exception with attractive, sweet berry aromas, with hints of minerals and smoke, and a palate which is bursting with bright red fruits. Darker plum characters open up in the background and this is balanced by mouthwatering freshness and refi ned, almost seamless tannins. A superb wine with wonderful vitality and clarity of pure fruit, it expresses the subtleties of this great terroir perfectly. Drink from 2016.

A passionate winemaker, Nicolas embraces natural viticulture and now focuses on fewer cuvées to achieve greater precision.
