Tasting Notes

Anne-Claude confesses to a big weak spot for this wine ? it?s easy to see why. Lacy, pure and perfumed, this is engaging straight away, with real intensity and wonderful depth. The fruit is beautifully detailed with ripe citric fruits combining with a more crunchy apple character. The structure is of compacted layers, each one capable of revealing different nuances and flavours over time. On the mid-palate, there is a more mineral aspect already emerging, adding a serious side to the more playful aromatics. On the finish the wine shows total class, subtle and harmonious with nature captured at its most magnificent.

A supple, attractive and very enjoyable white Burgundy. This is a relatively simple style but it still has a mineral backbone and plenty of acidity to balance the approachable sweet fruit. Not the most complicated 2009 in the range but wonderfully enjoyable right now. Delicious.
