Tasting Notes

Plush, ripe notes of damson and mulberry with a little smoke and pepper on the nose, this is very accessible and engaging, showing much early charm. On the palate, a wine considerable dimension is revealed but with a core of cool fruit and excellent tannic structure ensuring that it retains a classic form. The wines move easily in the mouth, softly textured and with plenty of freshness from perfectly ripe Cabernet. As ever, this is a wine built to last. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon: 22% Merlot: 2% Cabernet Franc: 2% Petit Verdot. Drink 2017-2030+ 16.5
