Tasting Notes

A wine with no hair out of place. Pascal's Suchots has long been fêted and once again, this wine is clearly of Grand Cru quality. On the nose, the wine draws you in slowly, captivating the senses while the palate is caressed by supple textures, a layer of silk covering the tannins. Notes of spice quickly show themselves but it is a deep mineral core that dominates and drives this wine through to the finish. Really wonderful. Drink from 2018.

Reviews & Scores

?Mild reduction knocks down the nose but the underlying spice is still quite evident. There is a velvety and highly seductive character to the wonderfully rich and generous middle weight flavors that also brim with palate coating dry extract before culminating in aseriously long anise-infused finish. Textbook Suchots. 2019+?
