Tiberio is one of the brightest rising stars of Italian wine. Winemaker Cristiana Tiberio has made it her mission to craft wines that a very distinct varietal and regional character with minimal intervention. A hyper-local approach and uncompromising eye for detail has led Cristiana to divide the vineyards into individual biotypes – vines from the same variety and the same clone, genetically identical, but that have adapted to tiny differences in their precise location on an epigenetic level. The result is some of the purest and long-lived wines in the region. Tiberio is an iconic producer, waiting to be discovered.
