Founded by the Fernández Rivera family in the early 1990s, the chateau-concept Condado de Haza offers a fascinating exploration of the terroir of Ribera del Duero. The vineyards are huddled close to the winery, which was dug directly into a hillside in a cooler northern part of the the appellation, in the Burgos province. Produced in exactly the same way as the wines of Pesquera, the vineyards here produce a more taut, structured style of Tempranillo. See More
