All of the grapes are destemmed to avoid imparting bitterness, and since 1988, the wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered. André Brunel is most famous for his premium, highly sought-after Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Cailloux, named after the famous Rhône pudding stones, and also his much-lauded Cuvée Centenaire, produced in tiny quantities in the best years from vines of over 100 years in age.
Brunel also produces outstanding value Côtes du Rhônes and a Vin de Pays Grenache that offers outstanding value for money. André Brunel is now deservedly recognised as one of the world's finest producers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
