Sangiovese, Drinking Now 2018
A deeply emotive wine which encapsulates the wild power of Maremma alongside the supple energy, savoury red cherry and balsamic perfume of Sangiovese. A small portion of Cabernet Sauvignon adds weight and depth to the mid palate.
The 2013 Morellino di Scansano Riserva offers good depth and intensity. Time in the glass helps some of the signature sweet red cherry, herb, tobacco and cedar nuances emerge.

This is very beautiful and structured with lots of perfectly ripe fruit and spicy, coffee undertones. Full body, velvety tannins and a savory finish. Lovely fruit and decadence. Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink or hold.

A vivid mid-ruby, dried rose petal and balsamic scented reserva, still showing vibrant raspberry fruit and fresh acid. Chocolate-coated cherry character with hints of vanilla, but in a far more restrained way than in classic Rioja wines.
