A very rich and spicy nose of kirsch, sweet morello cherries, spice box, hazelnuts and vanilla beans with dried dark cherry cake and lots of cedar, too. Full body, sweet fruit, vibrant acidity, ripe and round tannins and a fruit-forward finish. Always excellent. Drink now.

Tasting Notes

Waves of dark chocolate, leather, and smoked meat pour out of the glass, with a hint of dried flowers and a note of honey and caramel. The freshness and lift on the palate is truly remarkable, balancing a luscious, rich texture with pleasing tannic structure and superb polish. Already very open and accessible.
