Tasting Notes

Delicate and refined with lovely pure fruit and great length, the bouquet opens with notes of delicate cherries and a hint of crushed raspberries and rose petals. The palate is elegant and appealing with succulent red berry fruits balanced by a vibrant freshness and refined, silky tannins. Hints of sweet herbs and a delicate balsamic note on the finish add a further layer of complexity and depth. A wine of remarkable purity and finesse, the 2013 could be enjoyed in a few years but has the capacity for decades of ageing. Drink from 2019-2030.

Reviews & Scores

Just mid ruby with the beginning of orange tinges. Subtle, yet concentrated, red-fruit nose with hints of spice. Elegant, medium-bodied palate weight and fine cherry fruit laced with oak. Not ready yet. Elegant yet powerful. Drink 2020 - 2036.
