In 1986 Julian Murua decided to convert and refurbish his parents' wine cellar, which had been built in 1926, with a view to creating Rioja DO wines. Situated in Elciego in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, beside the rio Mayor, this winery now prides itself on consistently creating great quality wines.
