Case of 6
Grenache is the focus here, with a dash of Cinsault, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon enhancing the complexity of the blend. The fruit is directly pressed, fermented in tank and rests on its lees until bottling. From 300m high limestone terroir, this single vineyard is south facing and is accountable for the wine’s delicious salinity and ripeness. Mid intensity pale rose colour, bright and clear with delicate fuchsia highlights. The nose is strong and rich with tones of ripe raspberries. The undertone is full of white fruits with a dominance of yellow prunes, white peaches – intense and meaningful. The mouth is large and round, with a beautiful depth of spicy Sichuan pepper and fresh ginger which gives this wine an exceptional structure and an impressive length. The palate also offers good concentration whilst also being immensely refreshing and gastronomic.
Pairing: this wine could accompany lobster, a roasted pigeon stuffed with...
pine buts or a chanterelle veal rib.
Magnums and double-magnums available upon request.
