Case of 6
Just 5000 bottles were produced of this wonderful new Cru. The 90 year old vines are located at 900m above sea level on the volcano’s steep northern slopes, weathered by gusty sea winds and drenched in sunlight. The wine is a marvellous contrast to Pietradolce’s fine red Crus, as they aim to extract the character of Etna’s contrada. The wine is compact and muscular, lithe and graceful, with spice, floral and herb accents to its bright cherry fruit core. Lightly chalky tannins provide a firm structure to its mouthwatering finish.
