Reviews & Scores

The 2012 Encruzado Quinta da Falorca was aged in tank, but for 10% of the production run aged in new barriques for six months. It was sourced from the winery?s Vale das Escadinhas. Beautifully made, with a viscous feel on opening and a hint of wood in the background, this is fresh and tasty, with precision and focus. It has reasonable depth, but retains its elegance as well. It should drink beautifully right now, but continue to hold nicely in the cellar for a few years as well. There were just 2,666 bottles made. Drink now-2019.
