Scores

Has enough apricot kernel to satisfy, aided by good acidity; one of the more successful examples. Score: 90 Points James Halliday

Tasting Notes

Lively floral and peach notes on the nose. The palate has mouthwatering stone fruit, apricot and white peach flavours, supported by zesty citrus acidity and a long finish. This is a more delicate and elegant expression than many of the mainstream oily, rich examples of Viognier ? it has wonderful freshness and lots of personality.

ProducerTahbilk

With vines dating back to 1860, Tahbilk is one of the oldest established wineries in Australia. Based in a lakeland area of Victoria, which cools the climate somewhat, this terroir is ideal for the grapes of the Northern Côtes du Rhône - particularly white Marsanne and red Syrah/Shiraz. See More
