Our PortfolioTuscany

Tuscany, along with Piedmont, is the foundation upon which Italy’s wine reputation has been built. In total, there are 29 wines with DOC status produced in the region. It is also home to 7 of Italy’s DOCG areas, and many premium non-classified wines.

Chianti accounts for a large part of the region with the most prestigious DOCG Chianti Classico wines coming from the beautiful central hills, which provide a tempering effect on the summertime heat, many vineyards are planted on the highest slopes. The principal grape variety is Sangiovese, alongside other indigenous and international varietals.

Bottle shot of 2022 Mongrana
Tasting Notes

"The 2022 Mongrana is a fun, juicy wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Bright red cherry fruit, spice, mint, tobacco and leather add layers of nuance. Floral and savory accents linger. There's a bit of dryness on the finish, but that's a small critique for a wine that offers so much value." Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Bottle shot of 2019 Turpino
Low Stock
Tasting Notes

"The 2019 Turpino, Querciabella's top wine from Maremma, is understated and yet quite expressive. Black cherry, plum, mocha, spice and licorice are nicely lifted by a good dose of Cabernet Franc in the blend. This aromatic, layered red holds quite a bit of appeal. I would prefer to drink it over the next handful of years." 93, Antonio Galloni, Vinous
