Reviews & Scores

This is Astrolabe's 'second label', named after the seaweed found along the shore, in turn named after the captain of the Astrolabe, Dumont D'Urville. Relatively restrained on the nose and then more lively on the palate, tangy with grapefruit and mandarin, lively and bright if not especially intense. Easy drinking, well balanced.
16/20 Points, Jancis Robinson

TASTING NOTES

The 2015 Marsanne is a mouth-wateringly refreshing wine with an attractive bouquet of bright citrus fruits with a hint of lime. On the palate, zingy lemon and juicy grapefruit flavours lead to a racy finish. A perfect aperitif at the end of a long summer’s day.Armit Wines
