Tasting Notes
At the balanced, fresh and elegant yet “very Meursault”. It is made up of two plots that total just 0.6 hectares with vines averaging 35 years. The names of both plots, Les Clous and Les Crotots, are combined to create Clousots. The former is at the top of an easterly facing hilltop while the latter, heavily frost affected only made 1/5th of the blend, is just beneath 1er cru Les Porusots.

Reviews & Scores
This is also very Meursault in basic character as a deft touch of wood sets off slightly riper aromas of white-fleshed fruit, brown butter and hazelnut nuances. There is good richness but also plenty of punch to the medium-bodied flavors that exude a discreet minerality onto the saline, dry and highly refreshing finish. I really like the refined texture but not that this is going to need at least some patience first. Excellent. Outstanding Top value.
