"Mid-deep ruby with some purple glints still in evidence. Delicate, reticent, gently floral nose, with graphite, dried-tobacco leaf and a smoky, cedary whiff from the oak. The oak work here is very smart, without overt vanilla or chocolate dominating the varietal character. Attractive precision and elegance on the palate, with a fresh seam of acidity and finely poised tannins. The near-15% alcohol only makes its presence felt through the finish, but otherwise an accomplished Cabernet. A little more length is the thing that would take this higher."

The grapes for this elegant rosé were handpicked in the early hours of the morning from selected vineyards on the Helshoogte and Helderberg Mountain. Made from 100% Cabernet Franc juice, this unique Rosé displays flavours of ripe strawberries, cassis and candyfloss with a juicy, crisp and dry finish.
