Scores

An expressive nose of pure essence of red pinot fruit displays appealing background hints of spice that can also be found on the lush and lilting middle weight flavors that possess a restrained, even cool and sophisticated mouth feel. There is good verve and punch to the delicious, clean and dry in the best sense finish that is supported by bright acidity. 2015+ Score: 89 Points Burghound

Tasting Notes

Perfumed scents of plums and redberries with underlying spice. A textured palate with more plummy notes and added redberries, blackcurrants and herbs with a touch of earth. A focused palate with fine tannins and linear acidity.

ProducerSeresin Estate

Inspired by Michael Seresin’s own connections and interests, the Seresin Estate are a new world winery with an old world approach - they are in no hurry when it comes to their wines. They let the wild yeasts that live in their vineyard ferment the grape juice into wine. Working this way takes a little more time, but achieves wines with added savouriness and with more mouth watering textures and flavours. They also show a unique sense of place. Seresin Estate let all their wines spend time in barrel or bottle before release. It's true what they say, good things come to those who wait. See More
