The Rapeneau family is the largest independent vineyard owner and producer of Champagne, passing down their expertise through four generations. The Non Vintage Brut Rosé is salmon pink in colour with a pretty nose of crisp red apples, candied peel and roses. Great depth and power on the palate with good length and a complex finish, it displays the quality hallmarks of this exceptional House.

The Rapeneau family hail from the Marne region and have been specialists in the wine trade since early in the 19th Century. Following the acquisition of a majority shareholding in G H Martel, a champagne house dating back to 1869, the company has thrived. Bernard Rapeneau took over the reins from his father in 1944, and under his expert direction, guided the company from strength to strength with sales exceeding 2 million bottles in the early 1980s. Bernard's younger son Christophe now runs the company as cellarmaster and oenogist, while his elder brother Jean-Francois is responsible for sales. The House now owns a large expanse of vineyards planted with all three Champagne vines. Years of experience and expertise have resulted in the excellent champagnes that the Rapeneau family produce year after year.

The last 20 years has seen unprecedented growth in export sales, led by the UK along with mergers and acquisitions of brands and estates by the big Champagne houses. Beautifully pure, floral nose. On the palate a racy, energetic feel with nuances of stonefruit, acacia, brioche and underlying minerality. Lovely purity and vitality run like a vein through the wine, which has a long, crisp, slighty nutty finish. Exemplary Blanc de Blancs and great apéritif style.
